Bespoke joinery produced for new Scottish Courts and Tribunals centre within Atlantic Quay 3, Glasgow
We have produced over £100k of bespoke joinery items for the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service’s new centre, within Atlantic Quay 3 in Glasgow.
Having previously produced timber wall panelling for the CAT A fit out of the same office last year, as part of this CAT B fit out we produced judge’s benches, timber screens and a clerks desk.
The 15 judge’s benches, now featured within hearing rooms, were constructed with Meranit veneer faced plywood and stained to match existing samples on site.
We also produced a clerk’s desk, which was manufactured using timber veneered board, with a solid hardwood nosing and veneered panels with solid timber edgings.
The new centre at Atlantic Quay 3, provides a dedicated facility including flexible hearing suites, witness suites, a private evidence room and a specially designed sensory room.
Director, Gerry Cummins said, “It has been great to be involved in this major fit out within Glasgow City Centre and contribute to the government’s commitment to improving the experience of witnesses within the criminal justice system.”
