New desks being delivered for Edinburgh Airport
We are delivering three phases of work for repeat customer, Edinburgh Airport.
Having designed and manufactured their first portable self check in desks in 2013, we have delivered approximately £500k of work for Scotland’s busiest airport which served over 13 million passengers in 2017.
We are providing new passport control, gate and ticket desks to improve passengers experience when moving through the airport. The new ticket desks are now operational within the airport with the gate desks due for installation in the next few weeks. The passport control desks are currently being manufactured and will be delivered in the autumn.
The gate desks are made from laminate faced MDF with a paint finish with the passport desks made from laminated faced MDF incorporating solid surface acrylic corner detail and security glass. The hybrid desks feature metal laminate faced MDF carcass with specialist AC paint finish to the worktop.
The desks are part of the overall £80m expansion of the airport.
