Manufactured Joinery celebrate one year in new facility
It has now been a year since we relocated to our 10,000sq.ft. Manufactured Joinery Facility, situated beside Clark Contracts head office on McFarlane Street in Paisley.
During this year, we secured our largest contract to date, a £480k manufactured joinery package as part of the restoration of the original Willow Tea Rooms Building on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow to create the new Mackintosh at the Willow.
We have also received new orders from repeat customer Edinburgh Airport, for whom we have manufactured 44 bespoke check-in, gate and passport desks as part of the airports overall expansion. The new orders will see us deliver a further 10 gate desks and 4 passport desks.
A further order was secured as part of the fit out of Atlantic Quay 3 in Glasgow, which included the manufacturing of 15 court benches which will be used by future tenant, Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service.
Over the coming months we will begin working on the manufacturing of reception desks, shop counters and timber feature walls and displays for the Birthplace Project at the David Livingstone Centre in Blantyre and bench seating and bespoke planters for Gyle Shopping Centre in Edinburgh.
Gerry Cummins, Director responsible for Manufactured Joinery said “It is great to see the continued growth of our Manufactured Joinery Division having been originally founded as a specialist joinery company in 1978. This new facility has enabled us to increase our capacity and size of projects we can deliver from estimating and design development through to production, final installation and fitting.”
