Manufactured Joinery produce bespoke items for upgraded Whyte and Mackay office
Our team of experienced bench hand joiners produced bespoke items for Whyte and Mackay’s recently refurbished office space within their Grangemouth bottling plant.
Wall panelling, timber screens and fixed seating, designed by Architect, GVA, were manufactured in our purpose built facility in Paisley before being transported to the office where they were installed.
The timber screens, which are used as partitions to create meeting spaces in the office, comprise dressed timber studwork and runners, lined with plywood and faced with MDF bead and butt match board on the lower section of the partitions.
The feature wall mount panels, were constructed from MDF panels with quadrant beads before being coated with satin paint. The panels were constructed to house TV screens within break out spaces.
Bench seating was produced with softwood framing, plywood base and linings with foam pad tops, back and base upholstered in a silk cover. Stainless steel skirtings’ were installed along with a beaded MDF cladding to the base upstand. The seating now features within a new staff breakout area.
Gerry Cummins, Director said, “It has been fantastic to produce these items as part of the modernisation of Whyte and Mackay’s Grangemouth office space and contribute to the creation of improved staff break out areas.”
